goldenmoon > December 1, 2008 - I hope everyone is doing well! I took this shot over the weekend at a game reserve near Albany, Oregon. This guy flew right up to the tree I was next to. I would like to have had a little sharper shot on his eye, but am pleased with the overall shot. Comments?
goldenmoon > July 5, 2008 - Hey there! Well, sure has been a while since I last posted here, sorry for being absent!

This image of a fresh bloom we had this morning shows a little visitor. This mantins was quie amusing as he had gotten pollen all over his leggs!

Since the last post a LOT has happened! Kristie and I were engaged, we went to Hawaii, and many other wonderful experiences
goldenmoon > April 4 - Focused Ambition - I was shooting at my son's swim meet today...got several shots, but this one really stuck with me. Thoughts?
goldenmoon > March 23 - Again - Ok, this is a similar shot to the last two, but with a different angle on the bridge. Tighter crop, greater detail of the city skyline, rule of thirds on the left with the bridge, but the damn city lights are smack dab in the middle of the image...thoughts?

Thanks for your feedback! We need more honest comments here and I appreciate all the criticism you can give, it only makes me better!

Thanks!

John
goldenmoon > March 23 - Edited - Thanks to Rick and the other comments about the horizon being off in the original shot and the thoughts on cropping the lower right corner - please take a look and let me know your thoughts on this one!

We visited San Francisco yesterday and stopped off at Treasure Island on the way back...searched around for several places to shoot the city lights and liked this one the best...thoughts?

goldenmoon > February 10 - Yosemite Coyote in Snow - We went to Yosemite to check out the recent snows....coul dnot pass up the chance to shoot yet another Coyote...I just think they look cool. Take care!
